NovaGrey Domestic Grey Water Recycling
Householders can genuinely recycle domestic grey water back into the house. WaterGurus NovaGrey Domestic Recycling System uses advanced Membrane Safe Technology to recycle household grey water to a safe and pure re-usable quality. While rainwater tanks are effective when it rains, households generate grey water everyday to recycle and re-use both inside the house and around the garden. NovaGrey can be installed in sewered and non sewered areas and can save around 600 litres for the average household every day. Nova Grey is lightweight and easy to install with flexibility in placement of the components around the home.
How it works
A collecting sump is installed to collect all the grey water from the shower and laundry of the home. This sump is typically just 300 litres, easy to install and has an overflow to sewer or treatment system. The sump houses a submersible pump to transfer the grey water to the NovaGrey Treatment System. The system uses aeration and membrane filtration to treat the water to a quality safe for internal re-use and around the yard. The system is designed to be installed above ground, typically under an eave and against an external wall. The system comes essentially plug and play and works off a 240 volt weatherproof point.
Membrane Safe TechnologyThe membrane pore size in the NovaGrey system is over 300 times finer than a human hair and 5 times smaller than bacteria acting as a physical barrier guaranteeing safe re-usable water. The system is only 800mm in diameter and 1500mm in height. The re-cycled water is then transferred to a re-use tank ready to be re-cycled to toilets, cold water laundry taps or externally for outdoor wash downs or surface sprinklers in the garden.
